| Description | The Childcare Assistant will work on a part-time, as needed basis as determined by parents/members who register for childcare while using the Community Recreation Facility. Person in this position must be able to sit or stand for up to 3 hours at a time and move quickly if necessary. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Childcare Assistant may have to occasionally assist children in bathroom area or cleaning up and changing clothes. This staff is responsible for keeping a clean work area. Payrate is $10 per hour. First Aid/CPR certification is necessary for this position. If not certified, you must obtain certification within 60 days of employment. Applicants must undergo and pass a background check. This person must be patient and attentive to the needs of children in their care. An understanding of the stages of childhood development is important for this position. Ensuring that the children are in a safe, clean and engaging environment is our utmost goal! |
