Brookshire Park
Brookshire Park is an eight-acre park that runs along the South Fork of the New River.
The Park has a picnic shelter, public restrooms, lighted multi-purpose fields, river access and a greenway trailhead.
The South Fork New Greenway beings in Brookshire Parks and connects to the Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex, home to the Appalachian Soccer Stadium and turf practice fields. The greenway is a 1.8 mile out and back (3.6 miles total) trail that is a mixture of asphalt and gravel.
