POSITION OPENING
Watauga County Project on Aging is accepting applications for the position of Kitchen Assistant (Non-Regular) for the Western Watauga Community Center. Position participates primarily in the cleaning of utensils and kitchen; serving of meals; and packing coolers/caddies for the Home Delivered Meals Program. Requirements include experience in serving meals and cleaning of kitchens on a large scale, and the use of utensils and equipment. Hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00AM – 1:00PM; salary is $15.60/hour. Application deadline is Monday, October 19, 2026.
