WATAUGA COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
SPECIAL MEETING, TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 1999
The Watauga County Board of Commissioners held a special meeting on Tuesday, February 23, 1999 at 7:00 A.M. in the Conference Room, Watauga County Board of Education Central Office to review the Board of Education’s budget process.

Dee Petty, Assistant Superintendent
Charles Lentz, Administrative Services
Leta Council, Finance Officer
Loretta Bumgardner, Administrative Assistant
Several School Principals & Teachers
Brad Hodges, Watauga Democrat
Board of Education Chairman, Jim Deni, welcomed everyone in attendance and then turned the meeting over to Superintendent, Richard M. Jones. Dr. Jones, Carol Deal, Dee Petty and Leta Council presented a Community Guide to the School Budget that explained the school system’s budget process.
Vice-Chairman Sweeting left the meeting at 8:02 A.M.
Following discussion, the meeting was adjourned at 8:05 A.M.
