WATAUGA COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
SPECIAL MEETING, TUESDAY, JUNE 13, 2006
The Watauga County Board of Commissioners held a special meeting on Tuesday, June 13, 2006, in the Commissioners’ Conference Room at the Watauga County Administration Building in Boone, North Carolina at 3:45 P.M. Those present were: Chairman Deal, Vice-Chairman Winkler, Commissioner Honeycutt, County Manager Nelson, Assistant County Manager Geouque, and Clerk to the Board Fogle.
[Commissioner Blust was out due to illness and Commissioner Kinsey was out of town]
Chairman Deal called the meeting to order at 3:46 P.M.
At 3:46 P.M., Commissioner Honeycutt, seconded by Vice-Chairman Winkler, moved to enter Closed Session to discuss Land Acquisition, per G. S. 143-318.11(a)(5)(i).
VOTE: Aye-3(Deal, Winkler, Honeycutt)
Nay-0
Absent-2(Blust, Kinsey)
Vice-Chairman Winkler, seconded by Commissioner Honeycutt, moved to resume the open meeting at 4:11 P.M.

Absent-2(Blust, Kinsey)
The meeting was adjourned at 4:11 P.M.
