POSITION OPENING
Watauga County Maintenance Department is accepting applications for the full-time regular position of Maintenance Mechanic II. Position performs a variety of tasks including installing, repairing and maintaining various types of plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems; responding to requests of building equipment repair and maintenance; and operating specialized equipment. General knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and equipment used in building maintenance trades is preferred. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and considerable experience in HVAC, plumbing and electrical equipment repair required.
